Privacy notice

• We are a verified network for creative people. We collect only what we need to run it and keep you safe.
• You control what is public. Your messages are private; staff cannot read them unless someone reports them.
• We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. We do not sell your personal information. [Orbit to confirm: data sale was discussed; if it stays on the table the wording must change and the solicitor must review.]
• You can download your data and close your account at any time (with some safety and legal exceptions, below).

• Account: email, name, username, discipline, password (stored scrambled, never readable), date of birth (to check you are 18 or over) [confirm]. Why: to run your account and keep minors out.
• Verification: the result of a check that you are who you say (a reference from a checking provider and the outcome). We do not keep copies of ID documents. [Confirm when the provider is chosen.]
• Your profile and content: pictures, posts, galleries, comments, references, Card, links, availability, model details you choose to add. Why: that is the service. You choose who sees each part.
• Location: the town or county you enter, used for search by distance. Exact addresses are never shown. We also log your IP address for security; staff can see it only for safety and security reasons and access is recorded. [Confirm retention period.]
• Photos: uploaded photos have hidden location data (EXIF) removed. We keep an original privately and make smaller copies for display. Viewing and saving attempts may be logged to protect members' work.
• Messages: private between the people in the chat. Staff cannot read them unless a message is reported, or the law requires it. Automatic checks look for banned content such as spam and scams.
• Safety features: if you add emergency contacts, send a help request or use Lock my account, we store that to help you. Only the safety team sees help requests.
• Reports and moderation: reports, decisions, strikes, warnings and appeals, kept so we can be fair and consistent.
• How the site is used: counts such as page views, searches and feature use, without advertising trackers. Staff see summaries, not a profile of you. When you view someone's profile, premium members may see that you did, unless you browse privately.
• Consent records: what you agreed to and when.

We use only strictly necessary cookies (to keep you signed in and secure) and settings you choose (like light or dark mode). No advertising or analytics cookies. [Solicitor to confirm; recheck payment and map providers when added.]

• Other members, as you choose in your settings and privacy options.
• Our staff, only as needed (support, safety, moderation), with actions recorded.
• Service providers who run the site for us: hosting (Vercel), database and storage (Supabase), [email provider], [payment provider and verification provider when added]. They may only use it for us.
• Police or regulators when the law requires, or to protect someone from serious harm.
• A public Card or QR link shows only what you choose.

• Active account: while you have it.
• Closed account: hidden for [14] days, then deleted or anonymised. We keep a minimum where the law or safety needs it: reports and moderation decisions, records of bans (to stop banned people re-joining), financial records when payments exist, and consent records. Backups are overwritten on a schedule [confirm].
• Profile view history: [60] days. IP logs: [period].

Ask to see, correct, download or delete your information, object to or limit some uses, and withdraw consent. Use Settings (download your data, close my account) or email [support email]. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy, contact the ICO.

ARTEMIYA is for adults only (18+). If we learn someone is under 18 we remove the account. Never upload images of under-18s.

We will tell members about important changes. The current version number and date are shown here and recorded when you accept.
